How long is this course?

The Tennessee Department of Safety requires that the course must take at least four hours to complete. Don't worry! That doesn't mean that you have to finish the course in one sitting! Our online traffic school breaks down the course into small, timed sections so that you can take it in parts on your schedule.

Are there quizzes and a final exam?

Yes. After each course section, you'll need to pass a short, multiple-choice review quiz with a score of 80% or greater. Then, at the end of the course, you must pass a cumulative final exam with a score of 80% or better.

Is this course approved?

Yes. We are approved by the Tennessee Department of Safety (TDOS). That means that our online traffic school course meets all court and state requirements necessary to dismiss a minor traffic violation.

Am I eligible to take this course to dismiss my ticket?

You can take this course to dismiss your ticket if you received a minor traffic violation and were referred by the court. Auto insurance companies may also give their members discounts for voluntarily participating in the course (check with your insurer before registering). It's important to note that you can't take this course to satisfy a more serious "Driver Improvement" referral.

When do I get my completion certificate?

We send out course completion certificates Monday through Friday, within 2–3 days of completion, by regular mail. However, it is your responsibility to submit the certificate to the court by your assigned due date. Need your course completion certificate fast? We offer rush shipping for an additional fee. How much does it cost?

Our course costs $49.95, (which is much less than an insurance rate increase!). We offer the convenient option of paying by credit/debit card.

What happens if I fail a quiz or the final exam?

You may retake the quizzes as many times as necessary to pass! In fact, you can even retake the final exam if you fail it.
